Sixty-Eight Liquors, Inc. V. Randy Colvin, 2003, Kentucky
A minor collided with another car occupied by four other young men. All five individuals were killed in the collision. From evidence developed in discovery, it appeared that the minor had purchased beer from the establishment on the evening of the accident. In addition, all parties involved in the collision had allegedly frequented a nightspot where they bought and consumed alcoholic beverages. Parents of the minor brought suit under Kentucky's dram shop law. Is the establishment liable?
